WAX IS LOOKING FOR A DIGITAL DESIGNER
You love interactive design solutions, from UX and typography to illustration and photography.
You'll join our award-winning creative teams and work collaboratively to produce compelling, interactive
concepts and high-end digital design solutions. In fact, you love design so much – a fundamental
ingredient in everything WAX does – you live to create flawless user experience.
You have a minimum 5 years experience in the digital media design space, formal design training,
and strong typographical skills. The concept of branding is part of your lexicon, and proficiency in online
marketing and media concepts a given.
We expect an in-depth understanding of advanced Web design techniques, such as HTML5, the present
capabilities of Web browsers, as well as strong skills in Adobe's CS suite.
You can generate your own ideas, but are also a team player and can take direction and run with it.
In addition to being an outstanding designer and all-around clever person, our Digital Designer must have
strong communication skills and have the ability to juggle multiple projects (juggling flaming swords is also
a cool skill if you have it.)

Job Expectations
- You have ideas. That's paramount. Beyond that you have: Experience designing
for digital campaigns and web builds. Ability to develop interactivity/process flow and site maps.
Design interests that extend beyond digital into branding, print etc. Understanding of UX and user behaviors.
Knowledge of the technical possibilities in digital production. Interest for industry trends and technology developments.
Extensive experience working with Photoshop, Illustrator, AfterEffects and other CS6 applications.
A Solid understanding of HTML database-driven technology platforms. A desire to solve client's business
problems and not just make art. A strong attention and a keen, sharp eye.
