We’re looking to add a new member to our Design Team.
The ideal person will have good background in design theory, a keen eye for detail,
can follow directions well, have a great work ethic, and be able to work efficiently in a fast-paced but fun
environment. The candidate should also have a GREAT attitude, optimistic outlook and a drive to grow
our new business through marketing and design. This person will be responsible for graphic design
and layout, and assist the team of designers in daily production.
This person will need to be a good communicator!!
They will deal with several different departments, coordinating communications and projects
for the entire company.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
· Design, layout, and format materials to communicate marketing objective
· Create and design various promotional materials such as direct mail, postcards, ads, newsletters, packaging, labels, squeeze pages, etc. for print
· Perform formatting details such as typographic, photographic, and graphic elements
· Make ongoing revisions to marketing materials
· Identify opportunities for design process enhancement and implement improvements
· Become proficient in the company’s products and services and be able to effectively and efficiently
communicate through verbal and graphic detail in order to produce a winning result
· Report daily progress through a spreadsheet on a per project basis
· All other duties as needed or required

REQUIREMENTS:
Minimum three years experience in graphic design, advertising or marketing preferred
Experience in Copywriting a PLUS
Proficient with Macintosh Operating Systems
Software: Proficient in Adobe Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator
Experience processing, ordering and managing print jobs, as well as working with printers
Experience in web language / design: HTML, Flash a PLUS
Experience in audio and video editing a PLUS
Experience in IT / minor computer and network troubleshooting a PLUS
Comfortable with computers and technology
