Design Lab Dubai is is seeking a highly creative Senior Interior Designer with 8-10 years of Design
experience to work on residential, corporate, hospitality and retail projects.
Job responsibilities include; proposal generation, understanding customer problems and developing
creative solutions, furniture layout, specification, finish selection, inventory, field verification,
and team leading.
The desired candidates are likely to possess a university degree in Architecture, design
or a compatible discipline.
Candidates should be highly self-motivated, goal-oriented, competitive, and have great verbal
communication skills. In addition, ideal candidates will be able to withstand pressure and be able
to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Skills/Knowledge/Responsibilities
• Working knowledge of AutoCAD, 20/20 (CAP)
• Presentation boards (color and material)
• Ability to input base building drawings into AutoCAD
• Input of furniture layouts and space plans into AutoCAD via CAP or other relevant specification tool
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office
• Field verification and measurement of new & existing sites
• Space planning, typical development and systems furniture layout
• Creating installation drawings
• Ability to accurately inventory product and assimilate information
• Check all drawings and specifications for 100% accuracy
• Coordination and management of multiple projects in various phases
• Highly creative and comes up with unexpected and different solutions.
• Team Leader
• Participate in client meetings and presentations
• Familiarity of Building Codes and ADA requirements (a plus) Personal and Interpersonal Skills
