Meetup began as a scrappy, lean and mean startup dedicated to doing whatever it took to enable
face-to-face Meetups around the world. With a small, engineering-centric dev team, we sparked
Meetups for millions of people in thousands of cities.

The path we took left us with a website that is vibrant and full of life, but one that's also messy, inconsistent,
and sometimes even downright frustrating to use. We know we can't reach the next millions of people
without making thoughtful, simple-to-use, beautiful design a top priority.

That's why we need you. We're building Meetup's first design team. Join us and reinvent the online
experiences that will help millions of people discover, spark, and get involved in local, real-world communities.

Who We're Looking For

Code 42 is an innovative software company in Northeast Minneapolis located in the historic Riverplace
complex on the banks of the Mississippi. Code 42 makes meaningful software, entrusted with protecting
the world's data. We work on cutting edge technology to handle data and communication from desktops,
laptops, and mobile devices from around the globe.
We are currently looking for a digital designer with 3+ years of experience.
We're building an internal team to rival any external.
We in the creative department see Code 42 as the San Fran startup of the Silicon Prairie.

What You'll be Doing

As an in-house creative department, we deal with every type of design project (flyers, brochures,
direct mail, billboards, print ads and internal materials), but we’re looking for someone to focus
on the digital aspects of our business (user interface design, mobile app, responsive web design).
You will be involved in cross-platform app designs (mobile and desktop) as well as new site
and landing page designs, including ongoing updates to keep them fresh.
Your goal will be to make Code 42 and our products as attractive, informative, and user-friendly as possible.
