Product Designer

I consider myself as someone who likes thinking outside the box, always trying to go farther. Though it's not an easy job, I like being creative because sometimes we get frustrated, bored but also amused. It´s an interesting process, this one that we call "creativity".

My Name is Antonio Cruz and I live at Povoa do Varzim Portugal. For the last 15 years I have been working as a graphic designer in public education institutions (IDT, ISEP and Polytechnic of Porto). I was responsible for the development of internal and external communication policies and methodologies, I also had the responsibility to create the majority of the graphic work.

During this period I've worked as a freelancer and had the opportunity to continue developing my work with a large set of institutions and companies: Universidade do Porto; Faculdade de Ciências da UP; SMAS Porto; Faculdade de Medicina Dentária da UP; Enfermagem do Porto; B-Simple; Governo Civil do Porto; Centro Nacional de Cultura; etc.

From 2002 to 2009 I had the oportunity to work with some Angolan instituitions, and at 2009 I've developed the communication and graphic plan for the INIP – Ministério das Pescas in Luanda. I've organized a two weeks workshop where I've introduced and developed the new plan and methodologies with the INIP's team members.

Graphic design, editorial design, branding and identity

Sergio is an emerging young designer based in the city of Porto, northern Portugal. Sergio’s designs are not limited to a specific school or idea, but rather often based on art&craft or use of organic materials within the design process.
His main focusses have been on creating posters for cultural events and editorial projects like newspapers, magazines and books.
In the last years his work have been featured in several books and magazines worldwide and received some awards like the most recently "graphis".

Formas do Possível is a multidisciplinary studio in the field of design.
We deal with every form. The ones that exist and the ones that are yet to be invented. We cross, overlap, fuse and mix. Lines, colors, patterns and textures. We count on every kind of art - the ancient and the new found - to comunicate our client's projects with the vision and the originality only they deserve.

Worked as an industrial design intern for the eyewear design company Ørgreen Optics, through the Portuguese Minister of Culture scholarship program INOV-ART.
This internship was coordinated by the associate and design director Tobias Wandrup.
