Presently I am cultivating art at OM BOOKS INTERNATIONAL. OBI is one of the largest English language trade publishers in the Indian subcontinent and has been a leading force in the Indian book industry for several years, with its coffee table books, fiction and eye-catching promotional material. OBI publishes children’s titles under the Om Kids imprint: illustrated classics, mythology, folk tales, encyclopaedias and more. In addition to being a publisher, OBI is a major distributor of books for many leading international imprints as well. Here my responsibility is to manage the creative team, workflow, quality of the whole artwork, visualization, illustrations, colouring of our own high quality stylized children books like Picture Dictionary, Nursery Rhymes, Mythology, etc. My work involves working with a team of artists to create flawless illustrations for projects, design out of the box ideas and see a project from start to end, with conceptualization, creation and then sales by making great promotional material such as catalogues, brochures, posters, invites and trade sheets etc.

Was heading the designing team at P2PMS, wherein I was mainly responsible for overall visualization and appearance of art and illustration, manage the team, workflow and maintain standards and quality of the output. Pen2Print Media Solutions is a provider of solutions and services in Composition, Financial, Content Transformation Solutions and Marketing Communications services. My most challenging task here was to focus on the promotion and building up of the brand, whether of P2P or of our client. I have been responsible for many promotion campaigns here, especially developing material for clients and the company as they sought to represent themselves at various international book fairs around the world.

Book fair Visits
Bologna Book Fair- 2009- My visit to Bologna book fair exposed many new ideas of visualization and new concept of illustrations. It has broadened my horizons and opened my eyes to trends in foreign markets.
Frankfurt Book Fair-2010-Frankurt book fair opened many new horizons for many new style of designs and illustration style. It was an enlightening peek at what the European art and literature circuit is all about, and how art and business can function progressively with each other.
